Best Online Nocaster Stores
I'm shopping for a blonde Nocaster, probably a relic.
Where would you recommend I look online? What stores have the best selection and service? I need a store that has an approval period in case I get a dog. TIA |

I bought one of my Nocasters from Wild West - couldn't be happier. I got the other three from ebay, all with great results.

Ditto on Wildwood. Have heard only good things and sounds like what your looking for.
Although with Nocasters, unless it was "f"ed with, I don't think you'll ever find a "dog". It's one of the few guitars I would buy straight off Ebay. |

I noticed that the fretboard radius on Wildwood Nocasters is 9.5" and on Wild West Nocasters the radius is 7.25.
Is this a possible misprint at one of the sites or is the replica Nocaster guitar available with two different neck radii? Which is correct? |

Wildwood http://wildwoodguitars.com/ or The Music Zoo http://themusiczoo.com/ or Fat Sound Guitars http://fatsoundguitars.com/
Yes, Nocasters can be bought new (or reliced by the factory) with either vintage frets and a 7.25" radius or "medium jumbo" frets and a 9.5" radius. Personally I find the latter to be much, much better. I also like the "heavy relic" treatment where the finish is sanded off the back of the neck, with only a little sealer on it. It feels much better to me that way. |

I have bought many (too many) guitars from Wildwood. They treated me with respect and sent me exactly what they said they would. I got a great price too. Also, the good thing about Wildwood is they usually have a number of Nocasters in stock wich means if you say you want something a lttle light, a fatter neck, warmer, quackier, etc. they can usually make you happy.

Dave's Guitar or Wildwood would be safe bets,
based on reputation. or mebbe talk to Guitar Galleria like I did.. they had five of 'em at the time and I asked the rep on the phone to send me the one that he would choose for himself, after we'd talked a while about what I ultimately wanted from the Tele. www.guitargalleria.com I got this one; featured on the cover of their catalog! playing this guitar is like a beautiful dream. anyway I'm a satisfied customer and that's my only connection here.
