Newbie in Mexico sez hi y'all!!!
hey guys, greetings from sunny Puebla, Mexico!
my name is pat, and i'm a gear-a-holic. i'm a 29 year old (young?) swiss, living and happily married in mexico, with my 1st daughter on my way (due next month... or any day now!!! oh man) having a bit of (too much) free time here at work (P.R. and translator at the german school) i found this wonderful forum. i hope you guys won't be too tough on me  ok enough about me... here's my pair of tele beauties, which i love and play hard!  worn down-to-the-bone '73 (terrible refin) tele deluxe and '82 52RI tele. seems both of them have gone thru hell and back. they have details but i like 'em just like that. plus, i have another loving surprise on its way, but only to own for a short time (more of that later...): an original Sahara Taupe telecaster!!! ok gotta jump over to my other job (german/english teacher... well yeah, the baby's gotta have something to eat *sigh*) rock on, nice to be here. cheers! Hi Pat,
Welcome! I'm new here too. Those are some nice guitars, especially the Deluxe. I just bought a Deluxe Reissue today (http://www.tdpri.com/forum/telecaste...ew-member.html) and really like it. :)  Strummer. |

VW, i suppose your son works at VW haha around 90% of the people here are somehow related to VW. puebla is like the mexican wolfsburg haha  drop me an email when you're here, maybe we can meet, have some beers and/or hang out, some gig or somethin'... seriously! bucko: the guitar hanging in the back is in fact a 70s takamine "lawsuit" martin ripoff, great stuff!!! Welcome and congratulations on the upcoming new addition to the family. Nice teles too!
I have been to Puebla a couple times this past year visiting customers, VW and RASSINI Frenos. Haven't seen much of the town except the Tuesday (I think?) market day crowd is different than anything I have seen in my neck of the woods. |
