Saddles on Brad Paisley's Paisley
There's a new Guitar Center here in Nashville now...(yea!...
I confess that I dropped by yesterday, with my wife, for the grand opening. They actually weren't opened yet, so we didn't get in, but they had pictures out front of several artist, about 4 feet by 3 feet, including one of Brad Paisley with his Paisey Tele. So I got a real close up look of it. He's got a vintage brass saddle for the low E and A strings. THEN a single brass saddle for the D string. THEN a single American Standard style saddle for the G string. THEN a vintage brass saddle for the high B and E strings. I'm not sure when this picture was taken, but there was no bender system in that I would tell. Really cool idea non the less.

Brad uses a G-Bender - hence the need for a single saddle on the G string (and the D string). He uses a Glaser & McVay bending systems which don't require the extensive routing that the Parson/Green or Parsons White systems do.
Hope this helps. tomtheguitarguy |

Read my post titled "Amusing Salemenship" for a first experience feedback. Zac - Small world - I was talking about Brad at work and a coworker says that his old roommate is Brad's tech - I said Zac? Yep.
