Alright guys, I have now received the Lamicastor body into my possesion, and pictures don't do it justice, so you will all have to come over and see it in person.

I have been working on it for several days now getting it put together and this is the end result!

Here it is with my '04 HWY 1, another fine axe.

...and a close up of the body.

as some of you speculated, the laminated body with all that glue does make for a stiff, bright piece of wood, but thankfully not overly so.

I went with a rosewood fretboard and some warm pickups and it sounds great and plays really well too.

I am very excited to get it out of the house and on to a stage!

I will get some sound clips soon, I just want to tweak on it for a few more days.
