Ouch. Gas inducing goodness.

So many questions.... Where is it made? Does it come with a case? Do they sell them locally or just on-line?

I really wasn't planning on buying another guitar this year. This could be problematic.

I've had 2 of them and just couldn't bond with them. I sold them for what I paid for them but doubt if I'd get $1,000.00 for one on Ebay.

Edit to add: I'm talking about the Pink Paisley here.

Yeah several new ones have been popping up on ebay as well. Has anybody noticed the strats? I saw one with the normal small headstock/4 bolt neck plate like all of the CIJ's but I have also seen a couple "new" ones with the large headstock and 3 bolt neck plate like the old MIJ paislies. I even inquired about one and was told it is a NEW one and a CIJ. ???Anybody know for sure?

Chet, what didn't you like about them? They seem like a similar spec to the Classic 60's, no?

and that was at a lot less than a kilobuck.

There is a pretty limited market for them.

I would like to get my hands on a couple of these and see how they compare to my MiJ pair from the mid-80s.

If you know what I mean.

They were very well made and playable.

It was the color.

The Blue Flower is now my only Tele so I still use that one. I just couldn't deal with the pink.

We do not see very much MIJ/CIJ stuff down this way, at least I don't.

12 Strings, mostly.

I suddenly realize I can't think of a CIJ I have played as of recent that I really wanted, save those the price was over $ 900 on.

Everyone has their own expectations, I guess.

I just noticed that Dave's Guitars has them listed at $839.

Umm...maybe I should stimulate the economy...
