Thanks TDPRI!

Hey all! I've been lurking these forums since early March. It's been really useful reading all you guys have to say on the world of Teles... the first half of the semester, I'd occasionally take a stab at a guitar store, knowing I wanted a Telecaster without quite knowing why. It was always overwhelming, though - I never realized how terribly unspecific my desire for a Tele was. But with unknowing help from you you guys and some more trips to guitar stores and basically lots of information-getting, processing, and sometimes casting aside based on how things played and sounded, I finally found myself here tonight playing a new Baja Tele in the blonde finish. And I must say, it's really wonderful to play unplugged (since others in the house are asleep) and still feel and see a world of difference from the Mexican Standard Strat I've been playing for years now. :)

Just figured I'd finally register and say hello now that I'm a Tele owner. Now I'm off to do a bit more songwriting with my new baby...

That's really cool. Welcome. I haven't seen too many "disappointed with my Baja purchase" posts. Glad you're here and hope you have lots of fun with your Tele.
