I just picked up a second Baja, a Blonde to go with my Desert Sand. The DS is a MZ7, while the Blonde is a MZ6. I don't have my calipers available right now, but the new Blondes neck feels a bit bigger (which is good). A decent weight, 7 lbs 12 ounces, so it is 1/2 lb more than the DS. Same model, two completely different guitars in the way they feel. Comparing the Baja to the 52 RI, different necks, different pups is apples & oranges. You just have to buy the one that feels right.

Yeah, there's none, there's one, and there's more than one. The extry's are just awful nice, no big hurry to part with them. Someday in the distant future, I'll trade a few around and get a level mix of guitars like Jack or Csapo. But not right now, everyone still knows how little I paid for them.
