Volume control trouble.....
I find it difficult to control the volume from my Tele with the volume knob when switching between rythm and leads. I get excellent sound from my pickups when the volume is fully open, but when I back it down, say to 6 or 7, it gets not only lower but also duller and looses drive and caracter. I´m forced to keep it fully open and control the volume from the amp (difficult) to keep a decent sound. Anybody recognize this problem, and is there a remedy?

Is totally correct, however, it will still not solve the problem of reducing the amount of drive.
I would suggest a good volume pedal such as Ernie Ball. (Just watch where in the chain you connect it)
