Any Jeff Ross fans?

Hey Guys,
Jeff lives out here, he is one super great Tele master!
Sun. 12-14-03 We had a all pro tribute fundraiser 4pm till 2am, Jeff came but had no Tele... I lent him my latest Tele, Its got a Junior Brown ~ Yellow Guit Steels style *Bullet neck* from the 80's like Jr's.. awesome fast and nice thin yet comfortable shape.
Bridge is a Kent Armstrong P-90-in-a-Humbucker cover
Neck is a 16.k custom Jaguar.
Jeff made a Laughing sound using the voulme swell method and a behind the nut G string bend.. INCREADIBLE!!

Was there public notice of this get-together? more re Jeff

I've seen several other posts after the fact.....I have an old Texas connection video of Kelly Willis with Jeff Ross playing an ASAT Classic with a Bigsby dueting with Bill Dwyer (another MIA Tele player). Jeff ross filled in on the G&L Hellecaster magazine ads because Jerry Donahue was a Fender artist at the time. Thought there would be a JD G&L this year, but no word yet.

He rocks!

I'm pretty sure he was a Hellacaster before Jerry Donahue, seems to me I read an early story about them in Guitar Player (I remember seeing him with a Strat!). He then replaced John Jorgenson in the Desert Rose Band.

I saw him and John Jorgenson together in a small bar in Windsor, Colorado a couple of years ago, and he was playing keys! He did play some acoustic, but the electric guitar spotlight was on JJ (it was his gig, after all). Lots of fun, great night of music.

Cheers, Tim

He played on some demos of mine.

Though I never met him. I had a producer friend do
some "bells & whistles" demos for me. I mailed him
an audio outline & he did the rest. Jeff Ross played
some great guitar & James Intveld sang the vocal.
How's that for a combo!
