Robben Ford and a Tele

Maybe he plays one more then I thought, but I've never seen him with one.

There are lots of clips of him with that "vanilla pudding" Tele.

He's pictured with it on this album: http://www.amazon.com/Blue-Moon-Robb...9125738&sr=1-6

He's also had Fender make him a special Tele with a wider body.

Yep, he plays that Tele a lot, both live and on records. He's described the Tele as his "blues" guitar, while the humbucker-equipped guitars tend to be used for more fusiony playing.

That video is from his first "Ohne Filter" DVD release with the Blue Line band. He uses the Tele extensively on the just-released "Ohne Filter Revisited" DVD, which is from the Tiger Walk tour.

I've had him play that guitar in person a couple of times, and it sounds amazing (as does everything else he plays).
