A little Warmoth advice please...
Been on a roll of ideas lately........
Can you get warmoth to build you a whole custom guitar (1 piece body) and do the wiring and everything, or can you just get a totaly wired tele control plate elsewhere (never was good a the whole do it yourself thing)? I'm really interested in presuing thier product cause they seem to have everything I want for a custom guitar and about 1/4 the price. Instead of just one super tele I could get a Blonde loaded dream tele, a Don Rich Sparkle tele, a 3-tone sunburst Esquire, and something else to make all of them look good. One more question, do the warmoth parts say warmoth on them or are they blank (headstocks and such)? If their blank I've got a great prank to pull on my uncle.

Don't think so ............ they sell parts .....not guitars. Their license aggreement with Fender may not allow them to sell complete guitars.
Warmoth necks have Warmoth on the neck heel. Headstocks are blank. Bodies have Warmoth in the neck pocket.

No, but you can find pre-wired control plates. Soldering the pickup wires is as easy as soldering gets. You'll only have to make a few connections - the jack and the two pickups and you'll be done! Fender has the wiring diagrams on their website, for every model they've ever made.

Warmoth is a fine organization, but they really do cater to experienced guitar builders. If you need some TLC, you are much better off working with Tommy and USACG. Has anyone noticed that Tommy's USACG Tele headstock and the Vinetto Tele headstock are one and the same?
