Here goes:

L-R: Hamer's "Teal"-the story I got was that this was to match Elliot Easton's swimming pool; Fender's Surf Green (a good representation); Fender's Foam Green (also referred to as Sea Foam-this is from actual Fender color chips); Warmoth's take on Foam Green; Hamer's take on Foam Green.

Front: Hamer's Kerry Green (on the Hamer Vector-pretty accurate-same color as Surf Green); somebody's version of Foam green (a bit too dark and too blue); and Gibson's Kerry Green (on the FB1-again-accurate and the same as Fender's Surf Green).

Foam Green is Buick, Surf Green is Chevy.
I mean, look here for basic information:
http://www.provide.net/~cfh/fenderc.html

I own a 68 Sea Foam Green. Send me your email-address and I will send you pics of my Telecaster.

These are Internet pictures. May not be exactly true color but should show comparative difference.

I dig this lighter shade. Although, I'm not sure what this strange shaped guitar is...

Is there a source you could recommend where I could buy some "Surf Green" paint for a project?

I just received a can of surf green from Reranch and my sample matches Jack's picture of the surf green above in his post. I think Krylon or someone might have something close also. Mine will look like the one in your picture ajgus.

I'm tempted to try something like that on a Strat.

Lighting and photos make a huge difference. Here are two pictures taken in natural light with the same camera three minutes apart.

This is Seafoam Green, the back shot is more true to life on my monitor.

Surf green all the way!!!

A blonde and a surf green. The pictures don't do justice to the color. I like the "CYANer" color of the surf green. Surf green with a parchment guard!! Think "57 chevy"!

actually, I remeber now,(senile moment) that is a mint guard on the surf green and parchment on the blonde

Wow!! Awhile back I was jonesin' for something surf or seafoam but thought I got that out of my system..........this thread disproved that. Some mighty beautiful greens, guys.
