I love when sellers say things like "Two strings are missing". Do they say those types of things to appear as though they have no idea what they have or do they just really not know anything? Regardless, it certainly is a beautiful guitar. Don't be surprised if I write a post about my new MIJ

He could've said:

"set-up in the original Keith Richards style, before he went with the 5th string"

First think I'd do in getting that guitar is rip off the strings anyway. But that is a pretty, pretty blackguard.

Well...without even playing Her I know.
If I wasn't begging, borrowing, and whatever else it takes to get an Indian for the riding season I'd probably go up to eight hundred for that CIJ.
Really sweet Geetar!

Yup! She's gorgeous. And I'm a lucky bastid for owning one.

OTOH, what a cheap seller. Won't even spend 4 bucks for a string set. Makes me wonder how much he'll spend on packing materials.

I don't know...if it is missing two strings will it still play???
I also think that as it is missing the strings it should be actually given away. It is obviously not good for anything anymore.

Agree.
You know, you're being insensitive. Maybe the guy only has four fingers.
