but, i have a tele question, so i come to you guys for advice....

the 60th anniversary american telecaster in sunburst...is this thing a limited edition run....or was that just the clear-coat inlay series that was limited edition????

also, if anyone has played a 60th anni tele sunburst....how do they play? are they "tele"? cause i noticed things that i dont like on teles, like the six-string saddle....

welcome,

the sunburst model isn't limited edition, just the natural with the inlay is limited. the sunburst models play just fine, basically same as an american standard. it does have 6 saddle bridge on it.

Be aware that adding a vintage 3-saddle bridge to that guitar would not be an easy modification.

The AV52 FSR "Inlay" was limited to 1000. The "Cubic Zirc" alder sunburst/rosewood is of course a 2006 only version, it has the exclusive gemstone in the headstock, it has the OV or AV 57/62 pickups, not the usuals, depending on whether it is Tele or Strat; but I don't know if there are 7 of them for every "inlay", or 25 of them for every "inlay".

Jack is right, the swap to a 3 barrel brass saddle bridge on the "Cubic Zirc" is strenuous, it ain't an easy mod:
