How Does Fretwire Width Affect Playabilty/Feel??
I understand that having a taller fret allows for a higher action and better feel for bending, but what does it do when you've got a wider fret? I See that lots of rock players prefer a larger width and a shorter height on their frets, why is that? I'm talking like comparing a Dunlop 6105 to a 6150 (or even a 6130, 6125 or 6000)
Thnx

That is entirely a matter of personal preference. There is no secret formula for the perfect mojo, to have it all come together on one guitar.
However, there is a way to have it all, the sound, the feel, the screaming fans...only one way... Ron Kirn
