Some questions concerning late 70' Telecasters

The Seventies were not so bad for the Telecaster (as our beloved Ole Fuzzy always commented).
My questions are:
1. How are the necks of a 77 or 78 Telecaster ?
I am disturbed because I have a 78 with a C-profile and a 79 with a very sharp V-profile. Was anything possible and nothing usual ?
2. Does anybody is seeing through with the SN on the headstock ? Further we constated, that most of the SN S 7... could be 80' necks.
3. Do you know the difference between Dakota Red and Morrocan Red, or is it simply the same ?
4. How was the finish on the late 70 Telecasters.
Uff uff uff, so many questions, thank you in advance.
