= copper telecaster question =

Does anyone know the paint code for the metallic copper paint used on the copper Telecasters? I called Fender customer support, they didn't know nor did they know where to find it. E-mailed DuPont, and they tried to help, but no luck. Wanting to repaint a damaged guitar in this color, but can't seem to ID the paint. Any leads or help appreciated.

No, and it's not even in this great article: http://www.provide.net/~cfh/fenderc.html but it looks like most of the rest are.

The Guitar Reranch sells Copper Metallic in aerosol spray cans.

Possibly Bill can supply you with a pint or so if you want to use your own spray setup. Shoot him an email and ask...
