I don't want to slight anyone, so I'll just name a handful off the top o' me head.

Bill Hullett
Alvin "Youngblood" Hart
Redd Volkaert
Jim Campilongo
Becky (wife of Bill Lawrence, pickup designer extraordinaire)
James Wilsey (formerly of Chris Isaak's Silvertone)

Fame....

I'm gonna live forever... I'm gonna learn how to fly HIGH....

;)

to me, fame is silly... outside of this forum, I'm not sure that I care about most of what my wife would consider "famous" people... There are some top quality amp makers, pickup makers, and guitar makers here.... those people are "famous" in my book.... as far as players.... I'd like to meet everyone of the TDPRI members......... I feel like each one of us on this forum is famous.... i feel like we're a network of famous tele players....

or in my case, infamous....

I helped Leo invent the telecaster. I then went back to the future. Where I now post on the TDPRI.

Pretty sure that means my fame decimates everybody elses.

Then there's the exact opposite: TDPRIers who WE all know about but the world at large has no idea they exist.

The list is too long to post here...

Cheers, Tim

Yep. And fame changes from generation to generation. I met a 16 year old girl (shutup, she was a coworkers daughter) who had never heard of Daniel Boone. She plays basketball for the school and has perfect grades.

I was quizzin' her. Davy Crocket rang a bell.

She'd heard of the Beatles but couldn't name a single song.

So, there's your fame......

Murph.

I really hate bringing this up again, but I believe that we all pissed off the BP crew to include The Crew!
There were so many negative comments critiquing his tone and (look it up)... that they all pretty much said screw this. I believe it was more of a music gap here where some appreciated it all and some wondered why his tone was that way and some wondered why he wrote that song and some play humbuckers and don't even get Nashville Country.

Anyway, I have a feeling that gang won't be back again

But, you gotta admit they are a very busy bunch! Where would they even have the time to post here?

Too bad 4 us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

With the exception of Mr. Will Ray, I think most of the "Famous TDPRI Members" would probably prefer to keep themselves "unnoticed".

This is also true. It was quite the invention! That Flux Capacitor sounded great in my all tube, point to point handwired time machine! Your Flux Potentiometer could use some work though...

Arlo West?

I don't think anyone has mentioned him yet.

I don't know that Johnnycrash is famous yet but I'd still love to buy one of his amps (hint hint).
