Question about 72 Deluxe
I read about American-made 72 deluxe RIs, Japanese-made ones, and MIM.
Fender shows only one in their catalog. WHere is it made now? Was it previously made in various places? I've always loved the all-black Custom (neck humbucker) and the Deluxe (dual HBs), so I'm seriously looking into one. But I'm just a little confused about the country of origin, what to look for, etc. Thoughts? |

Yeah, the MIM thing used to mean "crappy guitar", or at least that's what I thought. Today, though, they seem to be quite good.
I'm jonesing for a black deluxe to pair with my 62 custom RI. |
