Nice Johnny!

Hey Chabby, how do you like your GE? I've been thinking about one of those in blonde.

Its freakin amazing and I'm loving it so much I can't put it down. I think I've found heaven. Doubt I will touch any other guitar for a long, long time.
Think I'm gonna sell my Les Paul and T. Anderson Strat. That's how much I love this GE SMith. I would love to get a Smith in blonde than I'd be done forever. Its the perfect Tele in my book. Wonderful beefy neck and love the finish. All that said, mine is very light at 6.4 LBS and it may not be easy to find one that light again. I have read of some getting heavy ones which I wouldnt want. As Ge Smith says in his youtube video "the guitar does it all".

ANd even thoug I've been known to use the whammy bar on my strat (which is really the only reason I own one) I have been just subbing behind the nut bends on the GE. It's not quite as cool as a whammy but it does the job.

As an added bonus this is the best Tele I've had yet for slide, which is the job my LP has done for me. GE Smith put the same bridge pickup that was in the Tele's predecessor, the fender lap steel. SO no wonder I love it for slide.

That's why I'd like to pick up another one some day just to dedicate to slide. But I will play all standard tuning and drop D slide for now on the Smith. Even though I spent all night last nigh and part of today in open G on it and wrote a song. I ve written two songs in two days thats how inspiring the Smith has been.
