I've been fortunate to visit Clive's workshop and I was like a kid in a candy store. He'd got a couple of Esquires in blonde which convinced me that was the colour of my "next" Clive Brown guitar.

He's a total master of what he does and a great guy too. I spent upwards of 3 - 4-hours chatting, drinking tea and indulging about vintage, classic and replica guitars.

Since I got my Broadcaster replica I haven't gigged anything else. It's just great to play and awesome to look at.

Absolutely gorgeous restoration of that tele! There are other folks who do relic blackguard tele finishes, but I sometimes find their colors too bright or yellowish. That one has the perfect creamy/beat finish the others can't touch. Enjoy!

Hi

can anyone PM me Clive Brown's contact details? He seems to be pretty elusive and I've turned nothing up in a search (other than people asking for his contact details and failing LOL)

Thanks

Clive's work

Hi All,
Here is a pic of my '59 Esquire's body refin by Clive in the 90's. Look at the perfect work done here! Amazing, no?

Drop me a PM with your e-mail details and I'll send you a PDF article about Clive and information of how to get in touch.

Clive is a telephone guy. He does respond to e-mails but I always pick the phone up and speak to him.

If you're in Boston, Lincolnshire there's no time difference. If you're in Boston, MA, we're 5-hours in front!
