If you mean all kinds of guitar, I agree with the above (except it has a typo--it should read F385S).
If you mean electric guitar, ask me after I've played a few hundred more of them and can decide. If you mean out of the electric guitars I own, it would be my Danelectro MOD7. Before the angry villagers storm my castle with pitchforks and torches, remember that i do not own a proper Tele. Yet.

Those are just thoughts... I really doubt the humbucker. I just enjoyed having a bucker in my LP jr. And I've been fiddling with the height of the bridge pickup, and it's now a lot better than before. But thanks for the compliments!

If we're talkin' strictly Teles, I'd have to go with my Partscaster. Although, the next Tele I get will probably be a Coppercaster

Martin D-18 or D-28
If I get an amp. 87 Fender Strat+ and a G-Dec30 I play my tele a lot more than the strat, but if I had to only pick one it would be the strat (may be just more sentimental than anything else). |

Can't be one I don't own yet???
I've got a Tele on order. I used to be one of those people who had many guitars. I've recently thinned the herd from 12 to 8 to 5 to, now, it will be 2 when my Tele arrives - and it will be the one for me. I played a particular one in a store near me. I fell in love! Long story short, I am going to purchase one from my buddies store (an exact clone of the one I loved based on the CS build sheet). When it arrives in 8-14 months it will be my number one fiddle. The wait will be excruciating, but I'd rather give the business to my friend. Here's a pic of what I've got coming:

If I could only have one and a big budget . . . The Reverend Horton Heat sig Gretsch. I've played that at my local shop way too many times and I think the folks there are just waiting for the day I finally whip out the plastic.

i would take my 52ri. before i would hop to THE ISLAND i would bolt a bigsby on the thing and do some experimentation with 12-50-ish strings, so i could play slide too on that guitar. actually i am getting a guitar kinda like that prepared to take on long trips. so i have at least the guitar ready......

Nice choice

If I really was limited to one- and how mean is that when I think of the hours spent playing, listerning and wondering how I can get it in the house without "disapproval" - it would have to be my MIM LPB Strat.
That guitar talks to me and will make every sound that I want. |
