Finally got a decent pic (just showing off)

I've finally got both of these exactly how I want em, so I figured I'd do one good pic.

two questions: (1) do you still have the matching tele and strat?

(2) how's the gold foil? I've never heard one, what's it sound like?

(1) I still have the strat. I sold the tele to one of my customers.

(2) The gold foil is kinda P-90ish. Find some Ry Cooder slide playing. He uses these quite a bit.

Gorgeous! both of 'em!

give us some specifics on the details...for instance, looks like you've got a rail-style humbucker bridge pickup in the sunburst (along with the gold foil). what kind is it and how does it sound?

is that a forearm contour on the natural finish one? (love that leather pickguard, btw).

The burst is a MIJ JD tele body, Musikraft neck, and the bridge pup is a GFS Lil Killer (nice sounding pup for the price). I've got em wired up with a 4 way switching. Gets some killer R&R grit with em together, and the gold foil can almost do the tele twang, so a nice variety there.

The other is a super lightweight pine body with both belly and arm contours, with a Musikraft short scale neck, Bill Lawrence Keystones (also wired with a 4 way switch), and Glendale saddles. Total weight with strap is 6.1lbs
