James Mitchell & Nine Pound Hammer

Anyone know where I could obtain a CD copy of Tele-Monster James Mitchell and his band Nine Pound Hammer Live in Nashville? I spoke with James but he doesn't have any left.I was told that it is an awesome CD with lots of tele playing.Any help in locating one would be appreciated.

I remember listening to The Mud, The Blood, and The Beers for 3 weeks straight! Are they totally out at ninepoundhammer.net...Oh wait, are you talking about the band Nine Pound Hammer that a few members left later to form Nashville P ssy? Or is this another Nine Pound Hammer...

James Mitchell is a class session player in Nashville and is on Alan Jacksons newest CD "Good Time". James recorded a live CD with his band "Nine Pound Hammer" I believe around 2003-05 and were only sold from the stage during his gigs. This is a totally different band than the other nine pound hammer that has a website and several cd's of their own.Go to James Mitchells' myspace site and see his video with his band.If you like Brent Mason then you will love James' playing. There were a couple of members that posted about this cd and I pm'd them but never heard back so I was hoping someone else might have a copy.

Ya the 9 LB Hammer you are talking about are great. They were around way before 2003. Infringement!

No they are like a Punk country band lol. But those guys had better watch it with the name. Nine Lb Hammer had 5-6 cd's released under that name.

I don't think they need to worry about the name!

You got me interested! I'll be lookin' too!

BTW - Kirchen was in NJ last night (I couldn't go...sniff-sniff). Gave my purchased tix to my sister and her friends. It sounds like he still got it!
