Bubba....I'd hang to those 60th Anniversary models. But, I guess you already knew that or you wouldn't have bought 7 of 'em. The collectors will be coming out of the woodwork for them.

Boris, do you know of any shops in that area that have a Nocaster for sale right now? Im just outside of BR, off of I-12, and I've been thinking of making a trip down there since none of the shops here have anything.

TIA

GC should be due to get another; they'd had 2 relic No-Casters; one real decent one stayed around a long time but it is gone now.

The only one right off I can think of is a Relic in Winter Park, Florida. Sorry.

Funny, but my NOS came from the Baton Rouge store, actually. And that guitar was on display for 7 months at least, best I recall, tho it was first offered at a different location and was part of an inter-store trade Lee worked out.

What do you think of the G + L dealer right there in Walker? Too expensive? Nice stuff there. Jody Mayeaux, in town, about 50 yards North of 190, storefront faces west.

Thanks for all the complements. Yeah, I don't buy anything unless I like it a lot or think it can be made real desirable within limits. Very liberating to pay well under the going price because it seems logical to spend $ 200-300 on necks, tuners and bridge parts if needed and have a semi-custom guitar that sounds pirty durn good. Then, and this is where the partscaster falls down, if you need to liquidate, the basic guitar can be reassembled and sold without a big financial loss.

So unless playing guitars becomes unpatriotic or something, I'm lookin all right.

Is Jody the G&L dealer? I live in that area and have talked to him on the phone a dozen times, but never actually been in his store.

Yes, he is, and he had a half dozen US G + Ls in stock the last time I was there.
Nice guitars.

No, not married, just trying to survive in a metro area with no crime control where the bald headed mayor is a mass murderer. That's all.
