Code allows you to display formatting in your post to demonstrate how the code works.

i.e.:

Code:

[quote]this is how you use the quote function.[/quote]

Without the code tag, you'd get:

Quote:

this is how you use the quote function.

The list tag indents items to make a list, like:

Code:

What I want for Christmas
[list]A brand new tele
New strings
The model that posed for the pinup decal[/list]

gets you:

What I want for Christmas

A brand new tele
New strings
The model that posed for the pinup decal

There is a link on the posting page... to a BBCode guide but it's pretty hidden. So here is the link:

This will tell you how to apply the coding. By the way, the board software is set up to allow you to change the font colors and size but it was decided during testing that this was not really desired.

So, when looking at the guide you may see functions listed that have been removed.
