Last night, I went over to the "Dark" side...
....Dark Vintage Circuit, that is!!
That's right, having already done the mod to my #1 '52RI to get the modern wiring configuration, I decided to revert the wiring back to factory. You see, when I only had one Tele, I wanted that sound of both pickups on, so I did the mod to the wiring. But now that I own more than one Tele, a couple of the others have the modern wiring as stock, so I figured now was the time to go back to the Dark Vintage Circuit. I have to say, I kinda like it - if I want the sound of both pickups on, I simply balance the switch mid way between the bridge and middle settings, just like I used to! So I wondered, is there anyone else out there who, having done the modern wiring mod to their '52RI, has also "gone back" to the Dark Side? Moo-har-haaaa!!! Thanks,

I've swapped the position #3 on my Esquire to make a much brighter sound.
I'd like to do that on a few AV52 FSRs, in one case coupled with a No-Caster style neck blend in place of the tone control. I think that'd be a great compromise.
