Sometimes when I look at these, I think.....hmmmmm. You CAN make 'em look real as real, but you just cant fake the feel of 50 something year old paint......... can ya??? now is it just me fooling me? can anybody else feel a difference between a paint job on a modern, finely executed *RELIC*(don't matter if ya like 'em or not, don't go there, just answer the question , please) and a genuine 55 year old Fender Telecaster.
Cause this is a really nice looking instrument! tell it.

I enjoyed that as much as if I'd seen it live, in person.

I guess that several folks have tried to say it "nicely", without asking directly.
And congratulations to you, raulsue, for managing to deliberately avoid answering the questions that all of us are asking - opting instead for those teasing little responses that say nothing but keep folks hanging on!... OK - I'll play. But I'm gonna ask you directly this time.... Here we go..... Nice looking Tele, raulsue! So - tell us all about it! What exactly do you have there? Year, specs, details, etc. Thanks!...

Great looking and sounding guitar raulsue
And you don't do shame on Albert either - I've seen him live and your playing is very authentic. Quote:

Excellent Albert King tone. And nice playing too.
That's my kind of music... Oh... that's my kind of guitar too... just a bit too old looking on the neck, but that's just me. I used to play only rosewood necks before switching to Teles. So I have to adapt to the look of the maple necks.

It is a beautiful guitar & sounds great - not to mention the owner is a great player.
I don't care if its "authentic" or not, ' cause like I said: "I don't know what she is, but she sure sound good!" Awesome! Thanks for the info & keep crankin' on that tele!
