Half Stack question

I if I took 2 heads and 2 cabinets, could i just line them up as 2 half stacks and use one head for the left speaker and one for the right?

If not, please explain how i could set them up like this

This might be a better question for the amp section, but yeah you can do that. You just need a Y-cable from your guitar or an ABY switcher box so you can have an output for both heads. Alternatively, you can use a stereo effects pedal as your splitter.

1st and foremost, buy a GOOD set of earplugs designed for stage use, or you'll be needing that Other half stack just to hear your self play in a few short years. man, do be conscious of your volume. Soundproofing, so your family and neighbors don't pop a gasket, won't protect your hearing!

I can't believe it's not common for amp companies to supply a proper set of (insert) hearing protection as amp box candy. I guess they don't get it either.

A Decibel meter is a prudent purchase also. Volume that exceeds 70 Db can damage your hearing. We all have some loss of frequency range over time due to high volume exposure. Conserve what ya' got, if it's a little or a lot.
