1952 Telecaster sheilding

Hello everyone,
Quick question, anyone know if the 52 Tele hade any sheilding paint or foil in the cavities or back of pickguard? I'v seen some pictures that look like the cavities have a black paint on them but not sure and i'm trying to build a 52 tele as close to the original as possible.

Thanks for any help,
Imgettingcloser
