My guitar is famous?

Well kinda..

I was looking for a new desktop background and searched "Fender Esquire" in google images..

My MIJ Esquire is on the 2nd page! Seems the guitar shop I bought it from OVER 1 year ago still hasn't taken it off their website, doesn't even actually say it's sold..

Random but true, I was surprised when I saw it anyway.

Is anyone elses guitar famous? if so what makes it famous?

I used to have an old Jazz Master that was supposed to be once owned by the Ventures. That was in the 70's and I sold the guitar for $125.00! I believe it was a 1962 model.

Somebody on here owns Ray Flacke's Tele that he used all those years playing w/Ricky Skaggs. The one you hear on Hwy 40 Blues, Heartbroke, One Way Rider, etc etc

Ray was my 1st Tele "hero". Would love to own that guitar.

Seems cool, I figured there might be a few Telecasters floating around this forum with interesting stories to tell or some weird claims to fame.

You know what? I was going to post a similar thread about "Does anyone own a famous Telecaster?"

Or, "Does anyone know what happened to famous Telecasters?"

They cant all be on the walls of Hard Rock Cafes?

Maybe their famous or moderately famous owners still own them, but, for example, where is Syd Barretts Tele now?

Should I just post this as another thread?

Not "famous" but you've probably heard it. My early 80s Steinberger, previously owned by the late Dee Murray of the Elton John Band. Heard on "I Guess That's Why They Call It The Blues" and other EJ tunes.

2 of my guitars are famous!!!

I keep seeing my '64 strat and JV 52RI tele all over the net. I'm playing the first two or three clips on the guitartricks.com site advert that haunts the music and tablature sites around the web.

Still do a double take when I recognise my left hand while surfing

Ron
