2nd choice / Next in line
Assuming the Telecaster ( registered trademark ) is your electric guitar model design of prefernce, what would be your 2nd electric guitar model design preference?
Thanks in advance for responding!

I'll take a big 'ol Gretsch. The full size ala Brian Setzer and Jim Heath (the Reverend Horton Heat).

From what I own, maybe the Epi Sheraton. My actual 2nd is a Breedlove nylon strung acoustic.
Electric? Only Tele shaped guitars for me. Outside the Tele, I'm after some really good custom made acoustics.

That would be my trusty "SG", the other old solid body slab.
Never got used to the weight or balance of a Les Paul, Never played a Strat I liked (But I KNOW there's a great one out there waiting for me) Played several SGs and loved many, a 61 I had was the best guitar "for me" ever. Sold it and bought a Chet Atkins in a moment of sheer stupidity....

I think a Gretsch pairs up real well with a tele, and I've been blessed by this magical combination (got my Setzer edition Gretsch as a 20 year anniversary gift from my employer) - but of course now I'm thinking an awful lot about a Gibson Firebird VII...
