1966

Just got back from corpus after 12 hours in the hospital with mom yesterday.

Buncha nice, lust-making guitars y'all bought.

Nick: That CRUCIANELLI ELITE has Los Straitjackets written all over it. That's the kind of Department Store Guitar that makes me weak.

Abe: Ah, yes. Miss Norma's child. Your Fender itch is getting scratched nicely. Oh, and me too.

John: My "Butcher block Buddy": I've got a little baseball card collection sitting around here too. Can I let go of the Mantle? Sounds like it's time for a little Oregonian Fundraiser because what you're doing with those kids out there can't be left to wither. Are they still digging the little Blue Tele?

Tim: If you get the notion to part with that Antigua (dot...dot...dot...)

Lew: That "Tux" is the shizzit

Johnny: Spill the beans

Vince: good to see you too. I can see why Rob made you happy. He's done that for a buncha us here.

Mik: You still got the Mustang? Still making noise with eric? Glad you're doing well out there.

Twang: That CS Goldie + AC30 must sound like heaven it's own self.

chip: congrats on the 125, those are too fine.

All: Thanks for all the nice pics, tallies, collections and recaps.

The "It's gonna be a crowded urn"

Geez, I realize that this year I sold nothing and bought the parts for a 62 P bass clone (Warmouth body, USACG neck, Duncan PU).

I'm pretty happy with the 66Bassman and the Gibson GA15 I already have. Pretty much anything else I want is out of my price range. (Carr Mercury)

I find myself more and more walking out of stores lusting for nothing. I'm trying really hard to learn how to play.

Only the stuff that has sentimental value:

- ASAT Special. A present from my parents.
- Ibanez acoustic R-300. My very first guitar
- Epiphone acoustic PR-750. The first guitar I bought with my own money after months eating just rame soup and hot dogs....

I'm just a sentimental...I can't...
