yeah... I had the camera out..... and went a little tele crazy... I don't think you can ever have too many pics of your teles...

As far as the Haeussel pickups... they're HUGE sounding... I installed a 4 way switch and am running position 4 in parallel... dude... that position sounds HUGE... so... i've got your normal tele tones... plus the 4th position which is kind of like the middle position with CAHONES.... :)

i love telecasters...

I've got some more work to do on the backup tele before it becomes my number 1...

That's some classy looking guitars you've got there.
-Your "backup" Tele is the classiest IMHO.

I'll take the backup, by far the sweetest of the three. If I saw this offered by Fender, I'd buy her in a second. Very understatedly dressed making it very cool looking. That's the word for that one "Cewwwellll" Seriously, I absolutely love it. One of the best tele's I've seen on this site, in my opinion, of course! They are all so cool looking, all three of them. wow!! You really know what you're doing. I may have to buy one of those necks. Can I ask what the setback was in cost?????
I'm in awe. I'm not kidding. I'm keeping those pics. The first ones I've ever kept by the way. Food for thought.....it would be kinda cool to have an album of all the different tele's I come across. Hmmmm...

Love all 3 of 'em!!!! It's refreshing to see something different than the same ol' same ol'. I'm kinda surprised (to say the least) to see someone using Q-tuner pickups on here as well. I love the look of the clear case ones (although the black ones look great too of course). Glad to hear they sound great as well. Very nice stuff!

WeirdOne, those ebony necks are very nice looking!! Are they the standard "ebony" option on Warmouth's site...or...??? And, did you get them "finished", or not?? (Did you finish yourself??) I had never thought about and "ebony" neck before ....but....

The first 2 Teles are gorgeous! You don't hold back don't you? I did a quick addition of the cost and tell you what .... never mind.

That wenge/ebony neck looks unreal! I did some research and you can definitely leave it unfinished. I'm definitely considering it on one of my Tele projects down the track. Might look good on a Walnut body.

Not in the slightest.. the electronics are where it's at... I've also got a tele with maple neck... I basically sound the same on all my tele's acoustically... the pickups are where the differences come into play...

of course if I had the same pickup's on all the guitars there would probably be a VERY MINUTE difference in the upper frequency spectrum.... of course you probably wouldn't hear it unless you plugged each tele directly into a recording machine and did some pinch harmonics or something of that nature...... but.... at band levels.... no difference at all...

Dude... I am the first one to dive head first and try something new... we shouldn't be afraid of technology.... we should embrace it... ESPECIALLY Q-Tuners..... they're UNBELIEVABLE... Every guitar player that plays that tele falls in love with the pickups.... Erno Zwann, the pickup's designer, is an incredibly brilliant fellow... his book, Animal Magnetism, is a great read if you want to find out the science behind these pickups..

The necks are Wenge with an Ebony fretboard... No finish required... and I LOVE the feel of them.... I know I say this alot... but EVERY guitar player that plays them loves the feel....

dude... you won't be sorry... they're incredible..... 59 roundback contour.... SS frets... 10-16 radius... I love every second i'm playing on them...

By the way.... While I like the Harry Bardens on the backup guitar... I've decided to go with Dimarzio Area T Pickups.... so... it won't be as sleek looking.... but... hey.... she's only the backup... right?.... just kidding... When I get dimarzio's on her, she will be my new number 1....

thanks guys... pm me if you have any questions about any of the products on these tele's.... I've purposely built these guitars to try out as big of a variety of products I could... and what's not on these guitars... probably has been at one point or another...

What's the nut width on the neck? Also, what's the 59 roundback like? Is it thick? thin? I kinda like the feel of bigger necks even though I've got small hands. I'm just about to pull the trigger on a Warmoth neck and trying to get as much info as I can before deciding on the specs.

for nut width... I like 1 11/16 on all my necks... The 59 roundback is chunky... but not too chunky.... VERY similar to the Paul Reed Smith Wide/Fat profile...

stainless steel frets and the compound radius make it a dream to play... oh yeah... graphtech nut preinstalled.. :)

congrats man... it won't take them as long as they say it will to make the neck... they always tell me 6 weeks for delivery.... but it's usually only 3-4 weeks..

telechaser,

I almost forgot..... the great thing about having a neck with no finish is that IF it is too thick for you.... you can sand it down to fit your hand perfectly....

that's an AWESOME option to have...

I'm excited for you.... can't wait to see it..

I looked at the pictures, drooled all over myself, started this post and then read your post which answered part of my question - I thought I saw the piezo wires coming out of the bridge saddles. How does it sound? Do you use the piezo option much? Mix the two?

Awesome looking guitars - all of them!

Well...
1. It sounds great.... like an acoustic... very cool...

2. No I don't use it much... if at all..

3. Nope.. don't mix them at all either... although it's possible..

Why don't i use the piezo's?

The Q-tuners are literally the biggest, baddest, cleanest, most beautiful sounding pickups ever created... if you twang, play with alot of harmonics, and still want the big balls of humbuckers... then these pickups are for you...

I swear, Danny would have left his Joe Barden's in the dust if he'd had a chance to play with these pickups....

They're unbelievable.. :)
