I would take it, maybe paint it though, But I loved the 80's needs a bucker in the bridge though.

Yep. I agree. That type of guitar needs humbuckers.

I suppose the idea might be to get approval from the Tele crowd, but most can't see past the '80s headstock anyhow. They need to go all the way.

Although it does bring back some fond memories. '88 Berretta GT, Whitesnake, Bemiston Mill Road, and......sorry my memories!

Jackson is now owned by Fender, right? I had seen Jackson incarnations of Strats before, but never Teles. Are these new
models? Interesting, but I agree with some of the sentiments
here, the headstock is too modern for such a retro design as
the Tele. Kinda like Martin offering a "Flying V-18".

Wow. I like weird bursts, but that first one (sunset burst? wth?) makes me mad at it. I wish I could throw up on it and watch that finish cook off in my bile.

I do like the black/white one though. I always feel awkward tuning reverse headstocks. I'd play it proudly, unlike that hideous escapee from a Brady Bunch 80s reunion show.

I don't mind the headstock at all, but I think the paint looks horrible. The black one with skulls is very cool.

I didn't like the color. Having owned a couple of Japanese "Model" Charvels from the 80's, I've always kinda wanted one of the Tele style guitars.

I don't mind the pointy headstock. It's right at home with me.

My $180 Model 1 is hands down the best playing and sounding humbucker style guitar I have ever owned or played. After installing a Floyd Rose, that is.

Those dual-humbucker Jacksons with Floyds could hardly be considered Teles, though.

As for the Jackson headstock, I'd rather play accordion, thanks.

I dig it a lot. If it's for sale, let me know!

Then again, I also think that all guitars should come in only one color-surf green...

Hate the paint. The headstock doesn't bother me one iota.

I remember catching Hideous Jackson in a live solo gig back in the early 80's. Man, that dude could sure play...
