Post Pics of Your 2008 ASH American Standard

Please post a picture of your new 2008 if you have a Natural, 2 Tone Sunburst, or a Crimson Red Transparent.

Thanks,

One of the best guitars in my over-crowded stable!

In the past I would have said it would be me, but I'm really trying to turn over a new leaf and sell most of my collection. It will pain me to do so, but this has just gotten out of control! I need to spend more time playing and less time collecting.

Dang! It's me.

Ordered a Crimson Transparent Ash Tele today.

Here's something interesting though...won't get it until June, it's on backorder. They must be popular...

Are the teles pictured two or three piece bodies? I have seen three ash bodies in person. I found 1ea natural w/ maple - 3 piece, and 2ea natural w/rosewood - 2 piece.

Just curious if the trend will go one way or the other.

Please advise, thanks,

ksks

My natural is a 2 piece body and the join is still quite hard to see.

Every one I've seen in clear or red trans has been center join 2 piece.

If you buy this model, these are the ones you want. For now, who knows how many really choice bodies Fender can find like this.

Oh man, those two guitars are really beginning to push my buttons. I need an '08 - I bought a 2-tone but sold it to a friend who begged and pleaded. I need another - I'm thinking natural!

If ya'll sell stuff now, you'll just be buying more in the future.

Just play the ones you have night and day; things will work out fine.

Yep, I've spotted still more AS Ash center join Teles; mostly very light in weight and not badly made.
