Hey Justin,

I sent you a PM, because what I have to say out Bernie Hefner, is brutal at best. I would not recommend anyone do business with this person.

I hate this expression. The fool mayor down here never stopped using this 'expression' from the time he was elected, until a few days after the storm.

His staff (that hadn't fled, never to return) suggested all maybe was not good.

We do believe that B. Hefner can produce a good item. Apparently they also have problems, sometimes, and with people, more times.

I'd still take B. H. over mayor B.S.

Ya know, you never see B Hefner and your mayor at the same party. Hmmmm, coincidence?

I do not think so.

Try this, call him and talk with Bernie. See how he treats you.

I bought a strat body from Hefner last year. Excellent, lightweight, swamp ash that has beautiful grain and perfect routing. When I emailed to inquire about shipment, I got a somewhat brusque reply saying it would be 3-4 weeks. I was a little put off, but when I recieved the body I was satisfied with the quality. I would indeed buy from him again, knowing what to expect. Sometimes you gotta have patience. I imagine shipping times depend on what's in stock versus what's coming in the next batch. That said, I've heard good things about Musikraft and Guitarmill, so just look around a bit.

I wont knock the quality of the guys product. He's just a world class jerk, personally, and in business.

The only thing I am really saying is, dont expect to be treated like a customer that matters.
