Splitting a bucker with a 3 way
Can someone give me the wiring so when using a traditional 3 way and bucker it gives this:
1 - north coil 2 - both coils 3 - south coil Thanks |

This single coil diagram will work if you pretend that each pickup is actually one of your humbucker coils.

if you wanted both coils in parallel, the wiring should be the same as a regular tele 3-way switch.
You could also use a standard tele 4-way switch wiring for both series and parallel. I remember seeing a wiring diagram for 2 pickups in series on a standard 3-way but i can't seem to find it. |

Series on a standard 3-way
Do you want the middle throw to be series or parallel? I'll draw it up for you... I drew up a series/shunt/parallel option for a humbucker on a standard 3-way a few years ago and I THINK I posted it. AFAIC, that would be more fun than your one coil or the other idea - I'll see if I can find it. edit: Yup, here it is: Humbucker and a 3-way
