I'm after a checkerplate tele pickguard - in aluminium colour, not gold (I've seen a gold one about)... Any suggestions???

what do you mean by "checkerplate"? Are you talking about diamond plate, like what truck boxes are made out of?

WD Music has them (and diamond plate tele control plates) in real aluminium in black or silver.

Pickguardian can probably also do one if you email them. They do fantastic work.
