Is it possible to add TV Jones pickups to a 72 thinline?

I think there's enough room underneath the pickguard to accomodate either the TV Tron (humbucker shaped filtertron) or the regular filtertron. However, you'll need to do two things: 1) get a new pickguard because I don't think the Fender HBs are the same shape as a "regular" HB which is what the TV Tron is modeled after; 2) the pole pieces on both the TV Tron and the filtertron are much longer than a stock HB. So, you'll have to see whether there is enough depth to the PU cavity to accomodate the TV Tron/Filtertron. If not, you'll have to plough out some material underneath the screw poles.
