Standard Tele Bridge and Dual Lace Pickups
Hey! I have a question regarding the bridge of the standard telecaster (mexican).
Is it possible to remove the standard bridge pickup and install a dual-red-lace-sensor? I've seen a pic of a standard telecaster with dual-reds in the bridge but i want to be sure of it. And if not, is there a special bridge available for such things? |

Your best bet is to call a Lace dealer and ask them directly.
Bruce at Aamps is a nice friendly Lace dealer, try him. Did you know that a Dually Red, with each coil being 15K, is a 30K pickup when both coils are engaged in series? Talk about your non-Tele tone, hehehe... |

Of course you can!
But you may need to rout your body for a larger bridge PU space, and you definitely need a new bridge or rout bridge plate for humbucker.
You can change your bridge with something like this http://0rz.tw/e62lk I guess that you saw a tele such like this, right?
