String Through Drilling
I did the search and couldn't find anything.
How to you drill the six holes for ferrules and get them straight? Should I send it to a shop? |

Look in my TelePhoto Gallery ............ the Thinline Project. String ferrule drilling is covered with pictures and text. Pictures are in reverse order and the ferrule drilling starts on Page 2.

I did this last night, I used a template, a drill press and took my time, and it came out really nice. I drilled the ferrule holes too (w/ a forstner bit), in a body that I had already finished and it came out pretty durn perfect.
