Mini bucker?

Hi people,

Im a lurker around these parts, been for a few years.
I rarely post in here but I always go here first when Ive got a serious tele Q.
So here I go again guys, hope youll help me out once more;)

I play an Asat Classic Custom (sweet butterscotch/blackguard style) with an overwound asat pup in the neck pos.. It sounds ok on its own although its a bit bland, but just doesnt cut it in a band situation.

I have been thinking about replacing it with a duncan mini-bucker, for a gutsier more clear tone. Has anyone done this, and what would you say about the duncan?

I have a Duncan Antiquity II Firebird pickup in the neck of my Tele. It is a great pickup. It sounds like a strat only gutsier.

You need to change the pots though. With 250K pots it will be a little too dark to match your neck pickup.
