schematic needed!

hi
Soon i'm gonna order a London City Comet telecaster. I want to relic it and transform it into a hot-rod esquire. The bridge pickup will be a seymour duncan hotrails. I'm not the best technician out there, so i'm begging for the smartasses out here to make me a schematic.

the guitar should be able to do the following:
pos1 (normal bridge position): full pickup, no tone control (full treble)
pos2: full pickup, tone control
pos3: pickup splitted, no tone control (full treble)
pos4: pickup splitted, tone control

and if possible
pos5: pickup splitted and the esquire 'bassy' thing when the switch is into the neck positiion.

if anyone has the time and is able to write me a schematic, i would honnor him/her instantly and build him/her a wonder.

greetz from belgium,
robrecht

Have you had a look thru all the Tele (and other) schematics on Seymour Duncan's website? The site is a really useful resource for many different wiring setups, you should be able to find something to fit.

Hey robrecht,

why not the classic Esquire selector combined with a mini switch or push-pull pot to split the pickup...

This would keep the advantage of a 3 position selector way easier in a live context !
