Best strings/gauges for Eb/Drop C#

I currently have super slinkies on my tele, which work great, but I want strings that are actually meant for Eb and Drop C# (Drop D a half step lower) tuning. I'd much prefer Ernie Ball, but any brand is okay, as long as they're pretty easy to find at your average guitar store.

During my SRV phase, I kept a strat in Eb tuning. It felt and played really good
with 11's.
I used Ernie Ball. Felt about the same as 10's in standard tuning.

eb strings are low tension wound, hence the name 'slinky'. most other brands are higher tension wound. for me and eb tuning on a 25.5" scale neck, nothing less than 12-52 since my 'normal' strings are 11-50. there is absolutely no substitute for your personal testing. when it comes to guitar strings, bigger is always better in terms of tuning stability.
