Tele Build Help!! (La Cabronita)
Hello all, I recently got a telecaster body, pre routed and drilled. My problem is that when I place my Gotoh Hardtail bridge over the string through holes, they don't line up. I am wondering what the process is for fixing this, if it can be fixed, so that I can do so before putting any finish on it. Any help would be great.

Where did you get the body? What brand?
1. There are two common hole patterns for tele bridges - Vintage (4 hole) and American Standard (3 hole). These are not interchangeable. 2. If its a homemade body, there is no telling what specs are for the hole pattern.

I'm not sure what brand the body is. I got it from a guitar builder I have done business with in the past. The holes on the body are spaced 2 3/16th inches center E to center E string. I have been told that the Gotoh bridge is metric spaced, so that would explain why the bridge wont fit, the holes just aren't in the right places. But, it seems that most of the bridges on Stew Mac are around 2 1/16th of an inch, so that makes it too small as well. The only place I have found a hardtail bridge with the correct string spacings is from a website called Guitar Parts Resource, I will include a link below. Anyone have any experience with this source?

Ahhh... okay, I gotcha.
I was thinking the Gotoh Modern tele bridge, but since you have a La Cab, those are made for strat hard tail bridges.

Guitar Parts Resources is a very good parts dealer. Also Stew Mac and Angela Instriments.
