Hi,
I've just ordered a Fender Cabronita and am wondering if fitting the S1 switch is as simple as buying the 500k S1 switch and appropriate knob / button or are there other bits and pieces needed ? I will not be fitting this up myself, will get a tech to do that but I want to order all necessary parts from Stewmac or similar so I can bung them in ASAP . How thick is the top? There is an S-1 that has a longer bushing that can be used with a 1/4" top.

The longer shaft version of the S-1 has a premium price tag attached to it.

I have a Peavey Strat type guitar that I'm going to put 2 of these in. That's $100 worth of pots. But, I'd rather have the S-1s than push-pull, push-push, or toggle switches....

I think I'll have to wait till guitar is in hand to see what's needed. I didn't consider the depth of cavity / body thickness to determine how long the shaft would need to be ?
Thanks for the responses. |
