No it's not a 5 way...It's a 3 way..I did determine that,
2=neck 3=output 7=bridge tried jumping 3 to all the others but nothing worked..

Oh ya sorry, I did hear of YKE Strat ones. Funny it's a 7 terminal, that is what their 5 ways are.
Had this from Deaf Eddie: bridge pup is connected to 6 and 7; the neck pup is connected to 1 and 2, lug 4 is connected to the volume pot. Lugs 3 and 5 remain OPEN. May work with that 3 way ?? Hook it up with test leads and give it a whirl. |

Is it possible to turn the switch on an angle where you can look at the connectors inside? I would imagine that the centered pin (#4) is always connected, so that would go to the volume pot. The other ones, if they can't be seen, I'd test with an ohm meter to see which is connected in which position.

Problem solved thanks to sjtalon for getting me aimed in the right direction..You had it almost right neighbor...Bridge goes to pin 6 and 7..neck to 1 and 2....but the output has to be connected to both pins 3 and 4.. Works just fine..
Now I can wire things up and install..Then find some tunners for the neck and put it all together for a test flight..Then tear it all down and finish the body and neck.. I've got a Bigsby on it which was a bear to install.. Thanks for all the responces..

I don't know what they are..They were in my junk drawer..Doesn't really matter right now..I just want to get everything to fit together and make sure all is right before I start the finish...Don't even know yet what I'll use for a finish..Might leave it natural..

Crazys thing..As usual my memory is in the crapper...While looking through some papers for something else, I found the diagram for a VM Squier Thinline..It's exactly the same switch..I drew it over a year ago..( Now if I could just find my other boot)...
