Bigsy/Telecaster Measurements?

Hope this is posted in the right spot. I searched but didn't find exactly what I was looking for. I figured if there was anywhere people would know it would be here.

I am getting ready to start finishing a bigsby tele project but I need to drill the mounting holes for the mustang bridge. I am forgoing the traditional bridge plate to leave the bridge pickup exposed.

To do so I need to get some measurements from the fret side of the nut to the center line of the mounting holes for the bridge? I know that on a jazzmaster it is roughly 25.66 from the fret side of the nut to that center line. I don't have access to a bigsby equipped tele, is that number the same?

I mutilated a second mustang bridge to help make plotting the holes easier, just need to know where it needs to be in relation to the nut. It is a 21 fret bullet truss rod AllParts neck.

anybody with a B5 on their tele and a tape measure could take a few quick readings for me it would be greatly appreciated. fret side of the nut to 12th fret 12th fret to center of bridge mounting holes.

I am pretty stoked about this project so here is a quick mock up pic with the Heavy Air pickups I scored.

Be excellent

Joe

I copied the shape from a bakelite p90 version made by Pickguardian I have laying around and had a buddy of mine cut it. It is 3ply w/b/w with no edge bevel.

I could send you a tracing next time I hit the PO if you'd like.

Thanks for that but actually since reading your posting I did some research and found that Warmouth make them so just ordered one in vintage pearloid. Looks like that's going to be a cool guitar.
