S-1 Switch knob and button

I recently purchased the knob and button for the solid post S1 switch from ebay. I went to do a test fit and the push button easily falls out the switch. Is something missing like a rubber gasket to keep the button in.

Yep, there's a "coupling tube" that Fender sells separately for a couple of bucks. Grab a Bic pen and cut a short section of the ink tube off & use that instead. It works perfectly.

I have a video on this. Go about 6 minutes in.
